Kristie has a BA in Interpersonal Communications from UNC Chapel Hill. After college, she decided to move around and landed in Los Angeles where she explored many fields before returning to school at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica. That's where she entered the fabulous and exciting world of hair. She has been creating and cultivating relationships behind the chair for 15 years—working in LA for Clear Channel, the WB, and the Radio Music Awards. She’s trained with Vidal Sasoon, Bumble and Bumble, Oribe, R&Co, Goldwell and Wella. Kristie has owned Vent Salon for 9 years and her clients continue to motivate and inspire her.
